We are the Southern California Branch of Clan Donnachaidh, an active community deeply rooted in our shared heritage. Our members hail from all corners of Southern California, tied together by our common ancestry and love for our culture. As a branch, we are involved in a variety of regional events including the beloved Highland Games. These events are an exciting blend of athletics, music, dance, and community, showcasing the rich traditions of our Scottish heritage.

We also host The Scotsman’s Ball, an annual event that brings Clans from all over California together in celebration. This gathering of kinship, tradition, and heritage is a highlight of our yearly activities, offering a chance for members to engage in festive camaraderie. Throughout the year, we organize a multitude of gatherings, from casual meet-ups to more formal events. Our aim is to create a sense of belonging and to foster a deeper connection to our shared roots.

Clan Donnachaidh holds a rich history that dates back to the 12th century. The Clan, also known by the names Robertson, Duncan, and Reid, has played significant roles in many key historical moments in Scotland, from the Wars of Scottish Independence to the Jacobite Risings. Our branch continues to uphold the spirit of our ancestors, celebrating our past while looking towards the future.
